(He/Him/His) MY Resume/CV
Welcome to Analog Counseling, where healing meets understanding. I'm Aaron, the heart behind Analog, and I'm genuinely thrilled that you've stumbled upon our space. My mission is simple yet profound: to guide you towards feeling better, so you can embrace living better.
With a background as a licensed clinical professional counselor and extensive certifications in psychoanalysis, I'm committed to empowering individuals on their journey to wellness. Currently advancing my expertise in Somatic Experiencing, I'm deeply invested in holistic healing approaches that honor the mind-body connection.
My journey isn't just about credentials; it's about genuine connection and understanding. Beyond my clinical practice, I've shared insights as an adjunct professor, locally and nationally, shedding light on attachment and psychotherapy. Additionally, my passion for spiritual formation has led me to author several publications, bridging the gap between psychology and spirituality.
At Analog we are committed to your well being. Personally, I specialize in a diverse array of issues, ranging from attachment and developmental trauma to anxiety and relationship struggles. Whether you're grappling with unwanted habits or seeking to deconstruct and reconstruct your faith after religious trauma, I'm here to walk alongside you.
Who might find me helpful? Anyone curious about their inner complexities, from artists and creatives to pastors and leaders. Whether you're struggling to feel your emotions or feeling overwhelmed by them, Analog is a safe enough space where authenticity is celebrated.
And for post-graduate students seeking guidance, I offer clinical supervision, both individually and in group settings.
If you're ready to embark on a transformative journey towards self-discovery and healing, don't hesitate to reach out. Let's navigate this journey together.

Jim Gum is a coach who uses the Enneagram as a framework for identifying the areas where we get "stuck" in our personality. The Enneagram is a system based on nine distinct patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting. When we "wake up" to the automatic patterns in our life, we find that we have both options and opportunities for growth and change.
Jim is a certified professional of the Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy and the Narrative Enneagram. Since learning about the Enneagram in 1991, he has been passionately committed to sharing it as a tool to help individuals and groups write a brand new story... a story of greater self-awareness and compassion!

*We are so excited to offer Enneagram coaching through Jim Gum. He is amazing! But it is important to recognize that coaching is not counseling, it is a different discipline that is not governed by the same rules as psychotherapy.
